Disaster releasing on July 3 in Japan

disasterdayofcrisis.jpg

According to this Neogaf scan, Disaster: Day of Crisis is releasing in Japan on July 3. The "panic inducing survival game" was announced for Wii by Nintendo in 2006 then kind of vanished. As the name suggests, you get to combat various social disasters, like earthquakes, floods and bears. Yes, bears. As you can see from that mag page, at some point in the game you will do combat with a giant, killer bear. And that is easily enough to sell it to us, frankly, despite the fact you seem to play as a guy who's decided he wants an MMO beard in the real world.

No word on a European release date yet.
