Bungie’s planning an epic amount of sessions on Halo 3 development at next week’s GDC, including lectures on AI, lighting, running the game without a hard drive, environment design and online multiplayer support.

“This year, Bungie is sending a pretty hefty group of folks to the conference in addition to giving a bunch of presentations,” said the developer. “Shortly after GDC concludes, those presentations will be available for folks to check out at the recently-launched Bungie Publications portion of Bungie.net – we’ll definitely let Bungie.net readers know when the presentations pop online.”

Halo 3’s now sold more than 8 million copies, according to Xbox head Shane Kim, so it’s only right it should get heavy representation at the world’s biggest development conference. Looks like you’re not going to be disappointed, Halo fans.
