Speaking at Imagina 2008 in France recently, Crytek boss Cevat Yerli, confirmed that a Crysis movie is on the cards and talks for the project are ongoing.

"A Crysis movie is definitely planned," he said. "We are in active talks already. I think we will close this topic before the end of this year."

No other details were forthcoming.

PC FPS Crysis, published by EA, recently passed the million copies sold mark. In the same interview, Yerli also said that Crysis 2 was currently being evaluated, but nothing could be said on the matter at this stage.
