No Nazis in Lego Indiana Jones, release set for June

The next issue of Edge has a full first look at Lego Indiana Jones, which is to be shown for the first time at GDC later this month. According to the magazine's article, the Traveller's Tales-developed game will release in June and has no mention of Nazis at all, the developer deciding that the game's characters were strong enough to pull it off without referring to the greatest event in world history.

"That said, we like to reinforce the fact that these really are terrible, terrible people," said Jon Burton, the game's director.

According to this, the game features 18 levels, all the films' main characters and even the scene where the angels turn the Nazis to mush at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Without the Nazis, obviously.

Weapons include the whip, guns (with ammo limits) and a spade, which is described as a key tool as it's used for digging for ammo and other items. Take a look at CVG's article for more info and watch for more details from GDC.
