Huddersfield police use Miis to track Wii owner

Police trying to find the owner of a stolen Wii are using the identities of the system's Miis in an effort to close the case. The Wii was nicked around Christmas and contains Miis called Seb, Pheebes, Nicks, Ellie and Evie, among others.

Det Con Neil Johnson, of Kirklees CID intelligence unit, said: “The Nintendo Wii looks new and is thought to have been stolen before January 1. It may have been a Christmas present. If anyone has devised these characters listed and the Wii has gone missing, then please contact us urgently.’’

The Wii’s ID code is 7901 7431 3732 8898. That report calls Wii an "an interactive computer sports game, usually played through TV", so if you're the one with a robbed Wii, you'd better get in touch quick before they pour tea in it, or something.
