17 year old Overwatch pro is forced to prove that she isn't cheating

The woman, known as Gegury, can be seen in the clip above absolutely dominating as Zarya.

As Reddit user Calycae reported, Gegury is so good that, after her team's victory in the qualifiers for the Nexus Cup, an opposing team reported her to Blizzard Korea for suspected hacking.

After an investigation by Blizzard Korea and a live demonstration, Gegury has been cleared of suspicion - she's just really good. PCGamesN has pored over the Reddit thread, and found posts suggesting that Gegury has received death threats over her abilities, and that some pro players quit the game after their accusations against her were proven false.

The world of professional Overwatch is pretty serious - and with Competitive Play right around the corner, hopefully people can learn to play nice.

Overwatch is out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
