130 PlayStation 2 titles due this year

Sony has said that over 130 PlayStation 2 titles are to be released this year, which means that by the end of 2008 there will be over 10,000 games for Sony's eight year-old system.

"The biggest brands in the industry are still delivering games on PS2," said big Jack Tretton, SCEA CEO at yesterday's E3 press conference.
