Good news everyone. ACE has found a publisher for Zeno Clash, and it is none other than Atlus.
Because of this, the game is set to be released on Xbox 360 as Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition via XBL.
That’s not all though, come spring 2010, the updated version will have online and splitscreen co-op, along with some gameplay enhancements suggested by the community.
Also, players can expect a brand new mode for the game that Atlus is saving as a surprise.
Press release is after the break.

ACE has said that Zeno Clash 2 will be a much larger game than the first one and will be large enough to be released on consoles – which is what co-founder Andres Bordeu wanted to do in the first place.
“The sequel will be developed from a different perspective than the first title,” he told That Videogame Blog. “Zeno Clash is a short indie game, whereas with Zeno Clash 2 we want to build a larger title; a game that’s big enough to go retail on the consoles.
“[It’s] what we would have liked to do in Zeno Clash if we would have had the resources. We really think that an open ended world is fit for the world of Zenozoik. Many games offer you the possibility to roam around freely, which is a great feature. But when you travel through those worlds many have very familiar and recognizable environments.
“In Zeno Clash the woods don’t look like a regular forest with green trees and bushes. In Zeno Clash the cities are just plain insane. I think it will be extremely entertaining to explore a world where you a never quite sure what you will encounter next.”
Day one purchase right there.

ACE has released new DLC for Zeno Clash called ‘The Pit’.
It has three new challenge scenarios where players compete for leaderboard scores, and gravity will not be your friend, apparently. Destructible floors and traps may cause you to end up in the bottom of the pit dead instead of alive.
The update is free, and is being released on Steam, where you can get Zeno Clash 50 percent off this weekend.
A video for the DLC is after the break.

Zeno Clash may soon land on Xbox Live once it gets a publisher, according to a report from D’toid.
ACE co-founder Carlos Bordeu has said the team, is close to landing a deal, and the game will contain extra content once it is launched.
“We’ve been having conversations about a possible XBLA version of the game and we’re currently talking with a publisher,” said Bordeu. “But we still haven’t closed that yet. But it’s something we’d really like to do.”
You can get it on Steam for the time being.

ACE has announced Zeno Clash 2, saying the second game is “to be much larger in scope”.
“The studio has begun planning the next game of the series which will continue the adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new and old conflicts,” said the company in a statement.
“Father Mother, the mysterious Golem and new characters will be making an appearance in the next title. The story will be set after the events that take place in the first game.”
There’s no date as yet.

ACE has told Shacknews that it plans to release a demo, downloadable content and a SDK for Zeno Clash after release.
“We’re planning on releasing DLC and releasing a compatible SDK so users can edit levels and other assets” said ACE’s Andres Bordeu.
The planned DLC will be free and includes new Tower Challenges and the possibly “other things” that ACE is “not ready to share yet”.
Release dates have not been scheduled, but the firm says it shouldn’t take very long.
A patch is also in the works to address game play mechanics and some general bug fixing.
