Zen Studios has announced Zen Pinball 2 for a spring launch for PSN and PlayStation Vita. The game will also be a free update for those who bought Zen Pinball 1 and Marvel Pinball. ZP2 will come with cross-platform support between PS3 and Vita, meaning users will get both version at no extra charge. The game will release alongside Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles. The debut trailer for ZP2 is below, via Joystiq.

Zen Studios has announced four new tables will come to Marvel Pinball and Pinball FX2 themed around The Avengers. The tables, knowns as Avengers Chronicles, will launch this spring ahead of the movie in May, and will feature new achievements and trophies, table guides and more. The content will go live as DLC on PSN and XBL, with a standalone game release on PlayStation Vita.

ZEN said today that Mars is the latest table to be added to XBLA’s Pinball FX2. Players can download the level for 240MSP on April 20. If you haven’t bought Pinball FX2, stop being an idiot. It’s amazing. See millions of screens and a video after the break.

Zen Studios has put out a new Punisher: No Mercy Trailer showing people getting severely punished by way of a bullet in the face and brains running down walls.

It all looks like a great laugh.

Not long to wait either; game’s out on Thursday exclusively on PSN.

There’s still no word on when multiplayer FPS The Punisher: No Mercy will be released, but while you’re waiting for the PSN game take look at some new screens depicting Frank Castle’s idea of revenge.

It looks rather painful.

Once the game goes live you will also be able to play as Barracuda, Bushwacker, Jigsaw and Silver Sable.

Looks… standard. The Zen game was announced back in September, and has no release date as yet.

Posting on the US PS Blog, Zen Studios MD Zsolt Kigyossy has confirmed a new Punisher game for PSN.

“We’re calling the game The Punisher: No Mercy because that’s exactly what it is – merciless,” he said. “For the first time on consoles, you’ll see the Marvel Universe through a first-person perspective in some intense arena-based multiplayer action.

“Also, the game is being built from the ground up with some serious tech – yes, we are using the Unreal Engine 3 (the ultimate FPS engine) for this exclusive PSN release.”
