Sir, You Are Being Hunted has hit its Kickstarter target of £40,000 and then some. The funding will allow Big Robot to prototype the title “into a fully-fledged game of being hunted by robots.” Animation and new art will “be the priority,” said the update, and new details and more NPCs will be revealed in the coming days. Expect to see stretch goals posted later today. The title has received £41,344 in funding from 2,115 backers and there are still 24 days to go. Alpha footage was released yesterday.

Alpha footage from Sir, You Are Being Hunted has been released by Big Robot, and it’s a full two minutes or so longer than the teaser released last week.

Kickstarter UK submissions have been on full tilt since the service started accepting direct submissions from Britain. It’s a game that sees the player hunted across randomly-generated lands by sharply-dressed killer robots, and it’s shaping up rather nicely. Check out the alpha footage below.

Big Robot has released some new environment screenshots of its upcoming “British indie S.T.A.L.K.E.R.,” Sir, You Are Being Hunted. The images are the result of the team running around in-game for 30 minutes, according to studio founder and RPS editor Jim Rossignol. Sir features a storyline which sees robots hunt humans for sport. The studio’s promised more details in the next few weeks. Look below.
