Yakuza 4 day-dusk-night comparison shots released
GameWatch’s got some comparison screens of day, night and dusk in Yakuza 4. These images contain people, cars and buildings with varying levels of ambient and artificial light.
Don’t look if you’re easily offended.
The game’s out next year in Japan. European and the US will get a localization in 3876.

Yakuza 4 to have in-game ads
Yakuza 4 will have dynamic in-game ads thanks to a Sega-Double Fusion Japan deal, Andriasang reports.
The PS3 game releases in Japan next spring, and will be awash with product tie-ins for its real-world setting, from the sound of it.

Yakuza 4 – first shots
And here we are. Sega’s released the first screens of Yakuza 4. IGN has the lot.
It’s pretty. It’s Japanese. It’ll be released in English in about 40 years.

Yakuza 4 to be fully revealed next week
It was announced a while back, but Yakuza 4 will be fully revealed next week during the Tokyo Game Show.
The date of reveal, which is on the teaser website which opened over the weekend, is September 24, which is day and date with the start of TGS itself.
If you want to get the game, you best start learning Japanese. Considering the Western fates of Yakuza 3 and Kenzen, this will most likely will go down the same route.

SEGA lists TGS line-up, no word on what is playable yet

SEGA has revealed its TGS line-up, and unfortunately it does not distinguish which games are playable and which are not.

According to Andriasang, Yakuza 4 is not on the “official” list but was listed in materials handed out to the press, therefore that’s why you see it listed.

Yakuza 4 named Heir to the Legend
Sega’s named the next in the Yakuza series Ryu Ga Gotoku 4: Heir to the Legend, according to Kotaku.
A tiny bit of detail came out overnight. It’ll feature top name Japanese actors and musicians, as ever.
Actors will be mo-capped and modelled for the title. Hiroki Narimiya and Kenta Kiritani have signed on to appear in the game so far.
Platform? PS3. Western release? Keep whistling, bucko.

Report: New Yakuza game in the works [Update]

Apparently, the cover of the latest Famitsu claims there’s a new Yakuza game in development.
It’s a prequel, supposedly, uncliding a younger Kazuma Kiryu. Toshihiro Nagoshi is reportedly back as producer.
We’ll have to take PS3Center‘s word for it at the moment.
Expect more soon.
