Yakuza 4′s localisation bucks the trend of ‘Americanization’, which Sega’s Yasuhiro Noguchi has said was a very deliberate decision based on fan feedback.

Four Yakuza 4 videos gameplay videos shows murder, thieves, eviction
GameSpot has four new videos of Yakuza 4 as it gets set to release in the US later today. The clips show an eviction, murder and more. Watch them below. Then buy it. Then Sega can think about bringing Kenzen or whatever other spin-offs west.
Game’s out on Friday in the UK for PS3.

GAME has posted the Yakuza 4 SteelBook Edition Includes on its site, and in included unlockable costumes for Akiyama, Saejima, Tanimura, Kiryu and Haruka as well as several additional modes.

New Yakuza 4 trailer shows low-lifes living the high life
Sega’s released a new trailer of Yakuza 4, and it’s about as subdued as a rampaging 30 ft-tall gorilla who flings helicopters instead of its own feces. Let’s see, we’ve got people running around with guns hanging out of their mouths, a woman bathing in cash, and cash raining from the sky and catching on fire. We didn’t see said woman among the dollar downpour, but now that we think about it, we’re pretty worried about her. Evidence points to her exploding, and exploding is, well, rarely good.

Yakuza 4 – Five minutes of fighting, girls, massage
SEGA’s released a Japanese language video for Yakuza 4, and it’s five and a half minutes long.
It shows loads of punching, fighting, girls, kicking, drinking and so much more that you’ll have to watch it yourselves.
It’s pretty awesome.
Yakuza 3 lands outside of Japan next month, has a demo out in Europe and the US, and Yakuza 4 hits Japan on March 19.

Yakuza 4 dated, screens show slapping, scowling
Famitsu’s dated Yakuza 4, the PS3 title now confirmed as having a March 18 release. See a scan on Livedoor (thanks Kotaku).
In addition, Gamikaze’s posted up 40 new screens of the tiger-punching, hair-slicking, sweary hostessing adventure (thanks, TomisH). Don’t hold back.
