Yakuza 1&2 HD has been confirmed for Wii U release in Japan by Sega, and the developer has released the bundle’s first trailer and screens into the wild.

SEGA teasing Yakuza announcement this week
SEGA’s teasing a Yakuza announcement for Thursday, July 19 on the main Yakuza website portal. Andriasang suggests the announcement could pertain to the Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition which popped up the publisher’s release schedule before it was pulled, because if it were about Yakuza 5, the tease would likely be posted on the game’s website. Guess we’ll all find out in a couple more days.

Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition pops up on SEGA release schedule
A SEGA release schedule may have outed an HD remake of Yakuza and Yakuza 2. The schedule posted on Andriasang shows a listing for Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition for PS3 and slated for December 1. The game no longer appears on the schedule page, bit there’s through the link you can see a cashed version. Yakuza 5 is also slated for release in December in Japan.
