Microsoft has released loads of avatar clothing pics for the NXE update, which is expected to arrive on 360′s August 11.

It’s gonna be hard to choose which to get , we reckon.

According to a post on Digital Foundry, testers of the upcoming Xbox 360 update are finding that their installed games have lost a few MBs.

“The new King of Fighters XII game from SNK drops from 3.4GB to a sub-demo sized 703MB (!), while Raiden Fighters Aces drops from 3.4GB to 484MB (!!). Left 4 Dead is another example of a solid saving, with the original NXE install occupying 5GB while the new install drops 1.3GB to a mere 3.7GB,” the site explained.

Our 20GB hard drives just got a new lease on life.

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Dashboard update hit August 11.

Loads of stuff is included: Games on Demand, improved Netflix performance with Movie Parties, Avatar Awards, Avatar Marketplace, game ratings, new Friends list, etc.

Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter will arrive in the fall.

If you are lucky, you can get a preview of it before it arrives.

This week’s Xbox Live update brings hip hop styling to player avatars.

• Men can choose denim shorts, jeans with print, a striped visor beanie, a diamond stud earring, and square stone rings.
• Women can pick out an oversized jacket with chains, short shorts, a sports vest and diamond stud earrings.

All the clothes are free, and will remain available for the foreseeable future.

The action-adventure title Lode Runner is also available for 800 MS Points ($10.00). It features 2D action, 3D graphics, “lodes of modes”, 220 levels, multiplayer options, puzzles, and a level editor all weighing in at 512MB.

Today’s DLC update for 360 owners includes a demo, extra game content and an arcade title.

• Afro Samurai Demo (Free) — This actually came out last night, but if you are in the mood to take control of Afro as he searches for Justice and his father’s killer with a raging combo system, go for it.

• The Maw: Brute Force (100 MS Points- $1.25) — A “deleted” scene. This extra content takes place in the Bulb Valley and Chaindown levels.

• Death Tank: (1,200 MS Points – $14.99) — This arcade offering is also available.
