Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 retained its chart-topping position in this week’s report on Xbox Live activity. Until Madden NFL 2013 fires up we can probably expect the charts to remain fairly static; you’ll notice this one bears a marked resemblance to last week’s. And the week before. And the week before that. The Arcade chart has more to offer, though; the long-awaited Dust: An Elysian Tail is in at second place behind the perennial Minecraft.

Modern Warfare 3 once again topped the XBL chart for the week of June 4 and Minecraft remained at number two. The top arcade title played was once again Minecraft, the most played indie title was, again, CastleMiner Z followed by CastleMiner and like last week, GTA IV topped the GFWL list, followed by Age of Empires Online and Arkham City. Thanks to the release of The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA IV has cracked the top five on the Live activity charts, knocking Gears of War 2 down to number six and Halo 3: ODST to number five.
