The PC version of the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins will use Steam instead of Microsoft’s Games for Windows Live service, publisher Warner Bros. has confirmed.

Xbox 360 sales in the UK look set to overtake the Wii. According to GFK Chart-Track, Microsoft’s console was just 200,000 units behind at the end of December, having outsold Nintendo’s product by over four times in 2012.

Microsoft could be gearing up to attack the world of digital TV, following the hire of Nancy Tellem, who was television chief at american TV giant CBS. Tellem was hired to head up a new Xbox content studio, suggesting that Microsoft is looking to go large on TV content soon, or into the next-gen.
