On Watch Impress. These came out of the Xbox 360 RPG Premiere 2008 event in Tokyo this morning.

Press release after the link. All this information was announced this morning in Tokyo, but all this stuff’s directly related to Europe. One interesting point there is that Star Ocean’s not listed as an Xbox 360 exclusive – whereas Infinite Undicovery is – and no other platforms are mentioned.

Update: The issue of Star Ocean’s platforms has been clarified on IGN. From the site:

Square Enix producer Yoshinori Yamagishi cleared things up during a roundtable interview session that followed the press conference. Asked if the game is 360-only, he said, “We cannot announce anything on that. We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we’ll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not.”

Square Enix just announced that RPG Last Remnant will be first released on Xbox 360, worldwide, this winter. The game will also hit PS3, but no date has been given for the other version.

More details have been promised for E3 next month.

A trailer for the game has also been shown, which will apparently appear on XBLM today. It’s unclear whether or not this is going to be worldwide or just in Japan.

Square Enix just confirmed that Xbox 360 RPG Infinite Undiscovery will release in Japan on September 11.

The game will release in North America on September 2, and in Europe on September 5.

The title had previously been thought to be releasing worldwide on September 2.

Square Enix has confirmed that RPG Star Ocean 4′s official title is Star Ocean The Last Hope.

No other platforms were detailed, but neither was exclusivity.

Namco just confirmed that a demo of RPG Tales of Vesperia will be released on Xbox Live this month, although it’s unclear which regions will enjoy the taster.

The game is now confirmed for an August release in both Japan and the US, with a European version hitting next year.

Microsoft just confirmed that Namco RPG Tales of Vesperia will release in Japan on August 7 for 7,800 yen.

The game will also release in the US in August, and in Europe in 2009.

Also announced is a Japanese Tales of Vesperia bundle, to include the game, a premium Xbox 360 and an unconfirmed bonus item, for 37,800 yen.

According to this IGN Blog post, Microsoft is holding what it calls the “Xbox 360 RPG Premiere 2008″ in Japan on Tuesday.

The “RPG Title Announcement Media Event” will take place between 4-5:15pm Japanese time, or 8-9:15pm BST. The announcements – yes, plural – are for Japanese eyes only but as we all know, “you can’t beat the internet”.
