World of Warcraft Patch 5.3 is now available on the Public Test Realms, and the update comes with a new Battleground and Arena, new Scenarios some Heroic, new Brawler’s Guild Bosses, assorted bug fixes, and lots more. The patch notes can be found through Battle.net, and as is always the case, things may change before the final release, so keep that in mind.

Blizzard has announced a feature-limited in-game browser to replace its current support system. Pulling it up will take you straight to the Battle.net Support site. Blizzard has never implemented such a system before and is looking for testers to check it out on the public test realm and make sure it’s working properly before going live; more details are available in a developer blog post.

Mists of Pandaria update 5.1 will be released today, bringing with it new dailies, a Brawler’s Guild, the ability to earn commissions, along with the addition of Battle-Stones for your pet battles and some UI changes. Mists of Pandaria sold 2.7 millions digital and physical units combined its first week, Blizzard announced today, but sales of the expansion are 30% below those of Cataclysm, the previous expansion, according to figures derived by Robert W. Baird & Co. analyst Colin Sebastian.

Mists of Pandaria realm transfers are being offered due to queues. The transfers are free for a limited time in North American for eight of the high population World of Warcraft servers. You just can’t choose the destination shard. Guilds may transfer once its leader purchases a Guild Master Realm Transfer, then the rest of the members can migrate free of charge. Blizzard has launched a subsection on Battle.net which tells The Story of Warcraft from its beginnings in 1994 all the way up to Hour of Twilight – the last content released for World of Warcraft. The section breaks down each bit of lore from Warcraft and World of Warcraft by individual release in the form of chapters offering a synopsis, videos and really nice artwork. Diablo 3 patch 1.0.5 will contain an option to allow players to appear offline. This will keep Chatty Cathy types from bothering you while in the middle of being swarmed, or if you just want to be incognito, it’s for that as well. The option will also be available in World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 sometime after the release of each game’s upcoming expansion.
