Wolfmother, Rob Zombie coming to Rock Band this week
EA’s announced that your dosage of Rock Band this week will come in the form of track packs Wolfmother and Rob Zombie.
Liz Phair and Morningwood make up for the rest of the Rock Band pack. While over on Rock Band: Unplugged for the PSP, you get Sonic Youth and Steely Dan.

Wolfmother track pack lands on Guitar Hero 5

Guitar Hero 5 has some new tracks available for it on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It should be up on PSN later today as well, if not already.
It’s a Wolfmother Track Pack, but you can get them individually as well.
Here’s what you’ll get for 160 MS Points ($2.00/£1.36/€1.86) each or 440 ($5.50/£3.74/€5.12) for the whole thing:
- Cosmic Egg
- California Queen
- Pilgrim

Activision announces upcoming DLC for Guitar Hero 5

Activision has sent over a schedule of DLC for Guitar Hero 5 expected for the month of October.
It’s quite a list too, and includes a track pack for Halloween.
There’s Wolfmother, Queens of the Stone Age, Peter Frampton, The J. Geils Band and Billy Squier.
Here’s the full thing for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360:
October 1
- Queens Of The Stone Age Track Pack: Mexicola, Avon, How to Handle a Rope
October 8
- Billy Squier Track Pack: The Stroke, Everybody Wants You, When She Comes To Me
October 15
- Wolfmother Track Pack: Pilgrim, California Queen, Cosmic Egg

- Classic Rock 2 Track Pack: The J. Geils Band – Freeze Frame, Peter Frampton – Show Me The Way (Live), Triumph – Lay It On The Line

Rock Band Wii adds 14 new tracks, gets KISS

Harmonix and MTV Games announced today the addition of fourteen tracks, ranging from metal to country, for the Wii version of Rock Band.
Here’s what you’re getting:
- David Bowie – Moonage Daydream
- Drive By Truckers – 3 Dimes Down
- Garbage – Why Do You Love Me
- KISS – Calling Dr. Love
- Lucinda Williams – Can’t Let Go
- Metallica – Blackened, Ride the Lighting
- Neko Case – People Got a Lotta Nerve
- Old 97s – Time Bomb
- Radiohead – My Iron Lung
- Sonic Youth – Kool Thing
- Steve Earle – Satellite Radio
- The Clash – Train in Vain
- Wolfmother – Joker & the Thief
Each master track will cost 200 Wii Points ($2.00).
