Cammie Dunaway has just announced Wii Fit Plus at Nintendo’s E3 presser.

There’s locker room added, and you can be your own personal trainer. It will include 15 new balance games, too.

No date as yet.

Nikkei – New Wii Fit and Wii Mario this year

marioart21

Looks as though Sony isn’t the only one sailing a leaky ship to LA. Nikkei’s reported that Nintendo’s to release a new Wii Fit – presumably Wii Fit Plus – and a new Wii Mario game in Japan this year.

There’s no detail at all on the Mario outing, but the piece says that the new Wii Fit title will have internet capability.

We should start running a book on whether or not a platform holder’s presser’s going to make it to the show intact. Only the MS stuff to be leaked, now.

Thanks, IGN.

Macquarie: Wii Fit Plus and “Mario/Zelda” to be shown at E3

wiifit5

Macquarie Research “understands” that Nintendo will show Wii Fit Plus in its press conference at E3 next week, “which will be sold separately from the board and in a bundle and will capitalise on the 17m existing Wii Fit users”.

The equity firm also expects “Nintendo to learn its lessons from last year and provide more gamer-centric announcements at E3 such as a new Zelda or Mario title for the Wii (in addition to the new Zelda for DS).”

The conference takes place on Tuesday morning next week. Nintendo confirmed last night that Reggie, Iwata and Cammie “The Teeth” Dunaway will be taking the stage for the event.

We’ll be live-blogging it, obviously.

Rumor: Wii Sports Resort, WMP and “Wii Fit Plus” dated

wiimotionplusa

A GoNintendo reader has seen an upcoming game release list at an Amsterdam retailer and took it upon himself to snap a picture of it.

According to the shot, Wii Sports Resort, Wii MotionPlus bundle and all, will hit stores on July 10.

Same goes for the the standalone WMP, apparently.

There’s something called Wii Fit Plus on there, slated for a November 19 release. What is it? No idea.

Goes without saying, but this may not exactly be the most solid information in the world.
