“At its core, BloodRayne: Betrayal is about balls-to-the-wall action, platforming insanity, and gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. Ninja Gaiden was a major influence for BloodRayne’s combat. I think that game has some of the best combat of all time. The platforming is inspired by a host of games, notably Mega Man X.”

Bloodrayne: Betrayal has been delayed into October, according to the game’s developer. Scheduled for release this month with a delay of a week’s time already, the game will now land on October 5 on XBL. No reason for the delay was provided to D’toid, and since the delay is on XBL only, this will not affect the game’s PLAY incentive announced just yesterday. Earlier reports stated the game was also delayed on PSN, but we sent a mail and asked, and were told it was not the case. [pic]
