Double Dragon Neon director Sean Velasco and five more former members of A Boy and his Blob developer Wayforward have jumped ship – pun intended – to form a new indie studio, Yacht Club Games. The studio has revealed a new batch of screens to mark the occasion, and we’ve chucked in the most recent trailer too. Enjoy.

WayForward Technologies has announced Double Dragon Neon, its 80s style reboot for PSN and XBLA, will release on September 11 and September 12, respectively, for $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. The game contains local and online co-op play, and stars Billy and Jimmy Lee who are fighting many a brute in order to rescue Marian from the clutches of the evil villain Skullmageddon. Gameplay consists of the original’s classic, 2D side-scrolling action with a bit of an “80s flair.”
