Watch Dogs players may not notice others in a multiplayer session right away
Watch Dogs’ Jonathan Morin has explained how the multiplayer will work in the game, without giving too much away on it. Essentially, players will always be in their “own session,” but it can be merged with others to where players will “intertwine.”

Watch Dogs November 22 release date revealed, four editions available at launch
Ubisoft has confirmed Watch Dogs will be available worldwide on November 22. The North American release arrives on November 19, European users can pick it up on November 21, and the UK receives it on November 22. Players will be able to choose from four different versions that will include a variety of digital and physical goodies when the game arrives.

Watch Dogs built on all-new engine, doesn’t share Assassin’s Creed tech
Watch Dogs technical director Sebastian Viard took to Twitter today to explain that the open-world sci fi thriller uses a engine called Disrupt. The new engine was built at Ubisoft Montreal specifically for Watch Dogs, putting paid to assumptions that it utilises AnvilNext, the engine which powers Assassin’s Creed 3. Watch Dogs is expected at the end of the year on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox 360.

Watch Dogs trailer points to viral promo site
Watch Dogs got plenty of attention following the PlayStation 4 reveal, but did you spot the website URL hidden in its trailer? It leads to a website which has been “0wn3d by DedSec”, splashed with an ASCII logo and the Latin phrase “quis custodiet costodes ipsos” – who watches the watchmen? Given the game’s thematic concerns of hacking and surveillance, there are probably further secrets to be unlocked or unveiled. Watch Dogs has been confirmed for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Watch Dogs box art and new screens appear online
Ubisoft has released a set of screenshots for Watch Dogs on the game’s Facebook page. We’ve pulled the lot and posted them below. Also, the firm has released the game’s box art for most formats, except PS4 of course. That will likely be revealed along with more information on the console. We’ve just posted the PC version below, since all look the same sans the logos. Watch Dogs is slated for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and most assuredly, Microsoft’s next console.
