Resogun is shown in the video below, being played in the middle of Manhattan using a Wifi PlayStation Vita tethered to an LTE smartphone. According to the YouTube user, The Phawx, the latency is “kind of in and out,” but if the user can get a decent enough signal it works pretty well. The Phawx said his PS4 was 10 miles away at home, proving that Remote Play can work providing the user is located in a wide area network. It’s all explained in the video below. Sony has updated its PlayStation 4 website with a section suggesting Vita Remote Play may be available for all or most PlayStation 4 games.

At Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2011 Vita spectacular, Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida demonstrated Vita’s improved remote play function – playing the PlayStation 3 version of Killzone 3 directly from the new handheld.
