Darksiders 2 experiments with Four Horsemen and Wii U
Vigil Games is bringing Death to the Wii U. Literally. Where the original Darksiders focussed on horseman War, the sequel will focus on his brother, Death. The hack’n'slash is a launch title for Nintendo’s new console, and it’s a refreshingly unusual choice.

Darksiders II gets first proper gameplay video
Someone on YouTube’s put up about a minute-and-a-half of gameplay footage of Darksiders II, the first time actual gameplay has been shown of the game. It shows new main character Death with multiple new moves and weapons. It looks pretty friggin’ sweet, as you’ll see below the break.

First Darksiders II trailer shows Death in action
Game Informer’s gone live with the first trailer for the newly-announced Darksiders II, showing off new main character Death, taking over from DS1′s War. The trailer recaps the end of the first game, but sets up number two. It’s all brilliant stuff. A YouTube version is after the break. Darksiders II launches in 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC.
