Vanguard’s Gatling Gears will be releases on XBLA May 11 and on PSN May 18, according to a new video released for the game. It’s a twin-stick shooter created by folks from Guerrilla Games and W!Games and is being published by EA.

Christina Norman, senior technical designer for Mass Effect 2, has told IGN that the Vanguard class has been given “the deadliest” powers from both the soldier and adept, with each one selected for its ability to “complement the Vanguard’s aggressive play style”.

E3 was a very busy week for all involved whether they were at the show or not. Loads of games were unveiled, peripherals, and tons more stuff happened.

MMOs were there too though, and while the majority didn’t make the front page, loads of stuff pertaining to the genre happened or is going to happen.

Not much this week for MMOs, sorry to say. Most are just giving players an “extra experience weekend” to lull them into playing on the PC instead of being outside grilling burgers and getting bent on beer.

Well, if you are an American that is expected of you this weekend. Most of us just do that anyway.

However, despite all that, we have dug through the mire once more to bring you something in the way of MMO news that didn’t hit the front page.
