Wii U mature content restrictions: Nintendo explains issue
Last week, Wii U was found to be blocking the sale of 18-rated content to children on Nintendo’s eShop between 11pm and 3am. Nintendo has now stepped forward to clarify the issue, which is says is related to Germany’s hard stance on mature game content.

USK outs possibility of NBA Jam for Xbox 360, PS3

Germany’s USK has rated NBA Jam for Xbox 360 and PS3, leading many folks to believe it’s indeed hitting consoles other than Wii, despite EA’s zipped lips on the matter.

Golden Axe refused classification in Germany
Sega’s Golden Axe: Beast Rider won’t be coming out in Germany, according to this Eurogamer.de piece, as the USK has refused it classification.
That’s it, pretty much. No details. Poor old Sega.

Sony-published Savage Moon pops up on USK
Whoops. According to this USK listing, Sony’s publishing a military strategy game called Savage Moon.
It’s a PS3 title, apparently, and the fact it’s been rated in Germany now means – using our super-sleuth skills – that a Leipzig showing next week is a tad likely.
