This week’s North American PlayStation Plus update brings a free copy of top-down dungeon crawler Labryinth Legends for all members. That’s it for bonus content, but there’s a couple of sweet discounts, too – you can save 64% on Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds Complete Collection for PS3 at just $8.99, and Zombie Driver HD is offering a number of exclusive savings on various bundles, including the soundtrack. This month, North American subscribers can expect at least five games for free from PlayStation Plus. The headliner is definitely this week’s free title – Dark Souls sibling Demon’s Souls – but there’s also Malicious and Labyrinth Legends for PS3, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny for PSP and Vita, and Zombie Tycoon 2 for PS3 and Vita. As for this week, members will score discounts on The Walking Dead; Rainbow Moon; and Söldner-X.

In this week’s North American PlayStation Plus update, members receive a free copy of Vita port Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. They also score a hefty 55% discount on selected Square Enix titles; various discounts on a range of THQ titles; and 55% off the Australian-made EscapeVektor for Vita, which was well-received on 3DS. The first is Double Fine’s The Cave for PS3, but the second is a portable version of Tekken 6, which is technically a PSP title but works on Vita. This week’s PlayStation Plus update awards a free copy of Joe Danger 2: The Movie to North American subscribers. It’s the second of a collection of free games coming in March. The rest of the update is all Ubisoft, all the time; there’s a discount on Scott Pilgrim’s new DLC as well as a bundle for first-time purchasers, and 50% off all Ubisoft sale items, which the plebs only save 30% on. This coming month, US PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a handful of free games. The first is Yager’s Spec Ops: The Line, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but has some interesting aspects, especially if you finish the campaign There’s also Joe Danger 2: The Movie, from the UK’s Hello Games; strategy RPG Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention; the recently released Double Fine adventure The Cave; and Tekken 6 for PSP and Vita. This week’s US PlayStation Plus update offers a free copy of PopCap’s charming tower defence effort, Plants vs Zombies. That’s it for free content, but there are a number of hefty discounts. Retro/grade and its soundtrack are both available on the cheap, and Sony is discounting all winners of its annual Gamers’ Choice Awards, the results of which will be announced tomorrow. This week, US subscribers to PlayStation Plus will receive Platinum Games’ amazing shooter Vanquish for their Instant Collection. The notoriously fast-paced and difficult shooter is not for the faint-hearted but well worth the investment. PSP and Vita title Mega Man Maverick Hunter X will also be made available for free, as will a Starter Pack for DUST 514, the EVE Online tie-in MMOFPS. This week, US PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a free copy of black and white platform puzzler Closure, an award-winning indie effort. The other four offers are all discounts: 80% off Critter Crunch at $1.50; 20% off Team 17′s Alien Breed at $8 with PS3/Vita cross-buy; 50% off Derrick the Deathfin at $4.00; and 20% off NHL 13 at $38.39. This week’s PlayStation Plus update brings a free copy of Lord of the Rings-licensed MOBA Guardians of Middle-Earth to US subscribers. Members will also benefit from three discount deals – 50% off Karateka at $5; 40% off Big Sky Infinity at $6; and 40% off Knytt Underground. Otherwise, it’s all discounts – 30% off Madden NFL 13 on PS3 and Vita; 50% off Gatling Gears on PS3; 50% off Section 8: Prejudice on PS3; and 50% off Greed Corp on PS3 ofr US and Canada residents only.

Sony has released its usual weekly update on what special offers are headed to US PlayStation Plus members this week. Headlining is a small discount on Need for Speed: Most Wanted should you drop a pre-order in the week before launch; it’s only $6 but that’s a coffee and a cake you might otherwise miss. An exclusive timed trial for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is the other big ticket, but visit the PS Blog for details of a few other goodies, notably 80% off Wonder Boy in Monster Land, a game which has rendered me near unconscious with sweaty nostalgia simply at the mention of the title.

This week’s PS Plus update adds a couple of fancy bonuses. The most compelling (according to polls taken in the demographic of people sitting in my chair) is a 20% discount on Tokyo Jungle, from $14.99 to $11.99. Go on, just try it. Elsewhere, a similar price drop offers savings on Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and there’s a pretty special deal on Starhawk – the single-player campaign and all DLC at no cost. Nice. Sony’s announced April’s PlayStation Plus offers for US consumers, featuring early access to the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta, the full versions of Shank 2 and Shift 2: Unleashed for free, free game trial for Saints Row: The Third and discounts of GTA IV DLC and House of the Dead 4.
