Quick shots – Shiny pectorals abound in UFC Undisputed 3 screens
It’s wrong to reduce the highly skilled and brutal efforts of UFC to a comment on how a lot of men have their tops off. But just look at them! Nipples as far as the eye can see.

Red Faction: Armageddon delayed; Saints Row 3, Space Marine get release windows

Ever sat around waiting for someone to build a house of cards so you can leap out, do your best impression of Godzilla, and send it crashing to the ground – cards quickly sponging up your friend’s salty rush of tears as their defeated pitter-patter gives your life meaning? Well, this is kind of like that, except THQ’s taking a little longer on that whole building part.
Wait, you haven’t done that? Oh. Well, um, neither have we.

Peter Moore responds to pissed off UFC president

Peter Moore has responded, sort-of, to Dana White’s angry ramblings regarding EA’s mixed martial arts game MMA and EA turning down a game based on the UFC in the past.
“I know there has been some recent discussion about EA SPORTS bringing a challenger to this sport. I love mixed martial arts, and we’ve been working on a game concept since I came to (sic) two years ago,” he wrote on his blog. “I have great respect for the organizations and individuals that have invested in the sport’s growth over the past decade – so this is one that is near and dear to me and I’m excited to see such good progress to date.
“I trace my MMA video game roots back to my support of Crave’s UFC title on the Dreamcast in 2000, and have been a fan ever since. Our title will bring both innovation and further authenticity to mixed martial arts, not to mention a strong global publishing network that will help spread the sport’s popularity around the world.”
Nice way to put it without being a jerk about it.
Dana White stated yesterday that the UFC is now “at war” with EA’s MMA and will blacklist any fighters should they sign with EA.
This isn’t the first time UFC fighters have been “threatened” with a spanking should they not do as they are told.

EA turned down deal with UFC, pissed off UFC president

Back in the days before everyone and his curiously muscular little sister were getting involved in mixed martial arts, UFC president Dana White approached Electronic Arts about a potential videogame deal between the two companies. Apparently, that particular talk didn’t go so well.
“EA Sports told us, ‘You’re not a real sport. We wouldn’t touch this thing. We want nothing to do with this,’” White said to MMA Junkie.
“We put our asses on the line, THQ and the UFC, to make a video-game deal in the worst economy in the world,” White continued. “We go out there and do this thing, and it’s successful, and now [expletive] EA Sports wants to do a video game. Really? That’s not what you told us a year-and-a-half ago.
White now considers the UFC “at war” with EA’s MMA offering, and will blacklist fighters from competing in the UFC if they sign on to throw virtual fisticuffs and Jiu Jitsicuffs with EA.
More red-hot rantings through the link. Hide the children, though, because White’s not afraid to contort his mouth into a position that looks a lot like “vacuum.”

UFC fighter dropped after refusing to sign game agreement
According to this Sport Illustrated story, UFC fighter Jon Fitch and several others from the American Kickboxing Academy have been dropped from the championship for refusing to sign over lifetime likeness rights for use in games based on the sport.
“We thought that was kind of crazy,” Fitch said. “Why would you sign anything away for your lifetime?”
Quite. The choice was made simple, apparently. When Fitch didn’t deliver on the “favour” of signing, he said he was told “either you’re in if you sign this, or you’re getting cut.”
More through there.
