GameHorizon secures Ubisoft, Paradox, Epic and more

Annual convention GameHorizon has signed up Bossa Studios, Epic Games, GameStick, Paradox Interactive and Ubisoft. GamesIndustry reports Ubisoft Reflections managing director Pauline Jacquey will give the opening keynote, and Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester will give a session on niche gaming. The event is sponsored by CCP and Epic Games among others; it takes place at The Sage in Newcastle on May 8 and 9, and many events will be livestreamed.

Driver: San Francisco now available digitally for Mac

Macgamestore.com has announced Driver: San Francisco is now available through its web site as a digital download purchase. Developed by Ubisoft Reflections, the Deluxe Edition features four new challenges in single-player and three extra cars for multiplayer: the 1963 Aston Martin D85, the 1972 Lamborghini Miura, and the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 for $34.95. The standard edition will run you $29.95.

A new Kinect title is being made at Ubisoft Reflections in Newcastle, according to a LinkedIn CV, tweeted by Superannuation. The profile of Joss Scouler mentions he’s working on the “confidential” project as lead artist. Nothing else is mentioned.

Driver: San Francisco gets movie director trailer ahead of Friday’s release

Ubisoft’s sent out a brand new video of Driver: San Francisco, as the Reflections reboot prepares to launch in the UK this week. The clip featured the movie director mode, something which has become a normal standard feature in most Driver games since the series began. Get the video below the break.

Driver: San Francisco launches in the UK on Friday, with a US release next Tuesday on PS3 and 360. PC version launches on September 30 in the UK.
