Tank! Tank! Tank! headlines EU Nintendo downloads this week

Tank! Tank! Tank! releases on the Nintendo eShop this week, and it will be a free download for both North America and Europe. Today, however, we are focusing on items available for the later, so North American users can expect their usual update later in the week. Tank! Tank! Tank! players can also download some DLC for the title which will be 80% until February 28. Your full European Nintendo eShop update is below.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut update adds voice chat, Pro controls, more

Trine 2: Director’s Cut – freshly available in Australia and New Zealand, by the way – has been updated with a number of new features. It now supports the Pro Controller, and you can use the Game Pad, a Wii U headset or smart TV with micreophone to voice chat with your co-op partner. Frozenbyte has also updated the graphics, correcting an issue which made the Wii U release appear washed-out. Trine 2 Wii U release in Australia held up due to being “stuck in the submission process”

Trine 2 for Wii U has been “stuck in the submission” process in Australia and New Zealand, according to Frozenbyte, but the developer hopes the title will be released by the end of the month.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut Aussie launch delayed for classification

Trine 2: Director’s Cut was a Wii U eShop launch title in the US and Europe, but missed its Australian launch date because Fronzenbyte didn’t submit it to the Classification Board in time, the developer told Ausgamers. The co-operative puzzle platformer is now expected locally in mid-December and will be 20% off during its release period.

Mass Effect 3 announced for Wii U

Mass Effect 3 was shown for Wii U during Nintendo’s E3 press conference inside a montage of third-party titles. While no one technically announced the title, it proved that earlier reports from the German Facebook page for the game were true. The montage also showed titles such as: Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Trine 2: Director’s Cut, Darksiders II, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. Videos for these, and more are posted below – except Ninja Gaiden, Tekken, and Aliens.
