While America got a release date of July 1 for Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 overnight, Nintendo UK won’t confirm whether or not Europe’s going to see a release of the Atlus medical adventure.

“We’ve not announced any plans for Trauma Center 2 in Europe at this time,” a rep told videogaming247.

A first movie of the sequel was released yesterday, and it’s all looking good. Don’t be too astonished if this gets a Euro date in the near future.

Atlus put out a press release yesterday saying that Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 will release for DS in America on July 1. Still no word on a European release, but it’s likely. We should have something on this later today.

The latest issue of Nintendo Power has word that a full sequel to the DS version of Trauma Center – Under the Knife – will be released in the US this summer. Apparently it’s going to pick up where the original left off and not have anything to do with the Wii version, and will include “improved funtionality” for Dr Stiles’ medical hardware. Sounds like an “easy” option’s going to be included as well.

No details on a European version yet.
