High Moon Studios has announced via its blog that experience points earned in the multiplayer component of its action title, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, will now permanently accrue at twice the usual rate. “This is the perfect opportunity for new players to join the elite ranks or for experienced players to level up new classes,” the developer wrote.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron DLC is now available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It’s the Massive Fury Pack, which includes multiplayer characters, their full body and individual body parts for use in the multiplayer character creator. Single-player campaign items are also available. Each pack is 800 Microsoft points or $9.99 for PS2 and PC players. Shots are below.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron has new screenshots available which show off the Dinobot Destructor Pack DLC which lands next week. The content adds Dionbots to the game’s competitive multiplayer mode and allows players to channel their inner Grimlock, Slug, Snarl, and Swoop. The dinobots are a tyrannosaurus-rex, triceratops, stegosaurus, and pteranodon, respectively, and you can see them for yourself below. The Dinobot Destructor Pack will release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on September 11.

In a press release hailing today’s local launch of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Activision has confirmed the High Moon Studios effort won’t be releasing on PC at Australian retail. The news comes as something of surprise, but luckily at time of writing you still seem able to pick it up through Steam for $50, significantly less than the $80 or thereabouts stores are asking for the console versions. Fall of Cybertron is also available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
