Namco’s released new DLC for Touch My Katamari in Japan. The new content features collaborations from manga/anime Usagi Drop, manga artist Takayuki Mizushina, retailer Matsumoto Shoten, East Japan Taxi ‘Blue Ribbon’ and a redevelopment group. Nope, I don’t get it neither.

Touch My Katamari DLC lands in Japan February 23
The first downloadable mission for Touch My Katamari will be released in Japan on February 23, according to Namco. Called Maid Paradise, the content tasks the player with rolling up maids as fast as possible. It also contains a cameo character names Lucky Star which, says Siliconera, Disgaea fans will recognize. Meito Anizawa, who has a cameo in Disgaea 4, even runs out of the Animate store at one point for you to roll over with your massive blog of people and items. The game is out on February 22 in North America and Europe, the same day as Vita. Screens of the new DLC can be found through the link.

Namco has released a prolouge video for Touch My Katamari, showing the Vita title’s story through a “terrifying revelation uncovered by the King of All Cosmos.” Apparently, the king has been made aware his “level of cool is now only on par with something he simply won’t stand for.” Interesting. Check out the video below. The game is out February 22 in North America and Europe.

Quick Shots: Touch My Katamari – go on, you know you want to
Namco has released plenty of screenshots to give you an idea of what to expect when Touch My Katamari is released for Vita on February 22. In the game, users control their massive blob by touching the screen or using the analog control sticks to roll it around. The rear touch panel can also be used to stretch the ball either horizontally or vertically to pick up more objects, or squeeze through a narrow gap. There’s also a video for the game below, courtesy of Gamespot.
