Arc System Works wants to make a new fighting game for PS4
Arc System Works is planning a new fighting game for PS4. This is according to a Shoryuken translation of a Dengeki interview with BlazBlue producer Toshimichi Mori and reported by Joystiq. Shew. Here’s the quote: “We can’t give you a definite title yet, but we want to make one. We started creating BlazBlue around the time of the PS3 release, so we want to make a game for PS4 when the system releases. Creating new things at the turning point of time is who Arc System Works is, so we would like to take it on,” said Mori. There’s some hope for fans, then.

Xblaze “adventure project” announced by Arc System Works
Arc System Works announced during a BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 national tournament that Xblaze is in development. It’s the first entry in what the firm is calling an “Adventure Project” and will be released in Japan this winter. Series producer Toshimichi Mori also said the second entry in the Adventure Project is also in the works. The video for Xblaze shown at the event is below, courtesy of AGB. BlazBlue sticking to 2D, says producer

Toshimichi Mori, producer of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, has said his game won’t be following series such as Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter into the 2.5D space.
