Ubisoft has launched a Tom Clancy-flavoured sale on Xbox Live, covering such franchises as Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon. I’m not sure exactly what Tom tastes like, for the record.

    Famitsu thinks Killzone 2′s worth 32/40, according to the game’s review in the magazine’s latest issue. The Guerrilla shooter was given 8/8/8/8 by the mag’s panel.     Ubi just confirmed that the PC version of Tom Clancy’s HAWX has been delayed a week from March 13 to March 20. No reason was given for the slip. The game releases for PS3 and 360 on Friday.

  • NXE to be mandatory update for new games

    Microsoft is to include the NXE update in all new game discs. The first titles to get this mandatory update will be HAWX and MLB: 2K9. You won’t be able to play them unless you accept the dashboard update that pops up when you insert the disc. There’s no escape. Welcome to Avatars, unconnected people.

    Ubisoft’s put out a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s HAWX, showing something called a Kulbit maneuver. In case you were wondering, it was developed by Russian pilots to cause enemy aircraft to overshoot targets. Game’s out in March, and the trailer is posted through the jump. Thanks, Blue.

    Ubi’s just confirmed Tom Clancy’s HAWX for a March 6 release in Europe. The flight combat title was previously listed for March. PC, PS3 and 360 all get a version. HAWX is visually stunning, featuring lots of bleeping and missile avoidance. You may or may not love it.
