Report – Paramount in talks with Ubisoft on Splinter Cell movie
Deadline has reported that Paramount is in talks regarding a film version of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, although when asked, the studio declined comment. According to the report, Ubisoft “will be very involved and retain control over how the game is translated into a film.” Earlier reports indicated Warner was a front runner, but it appears Paramount is the safe bet. Ghost Recon: Alpha trailer and screens released
Ubisoft has released a trailer for its movie short Ghost Recon: Alpha. It’s posted below along with a set of screenshots. The full film will be available to the public on Monday May 14 via Ubisoft’s YouTube channel. The film was shown earlier in the month via Lovefilm and on G4, and a DVD Blu-ray combo pack lands in stores on May 22 for $14.95 and as a standalone DVD for $7.95. A code to unlock and exclusive weapon in the Xbox 360 version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is hidden in the film. Future Soldier launches on May 25 for PS3 and 360 and on June 12 for PC.

Ubisoft patches inverted aim support into Splinter Cell Trilogy on PSN
Ubisoft has patched the Splinter Cell Trilogy HD on PS3 to add inverted aim support after enough players informed the developer that it would be nice to have options pertaining to y-axis alignment. The firm has told Eurogamer the patch is only available for the PSN version at the moment, but one for the retail version is “coming soon.” The Splinter Cell HD Collection was released back in September.

Those are the first few words you hear in the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier teaser video Ubisoft released today.
Announced earlier today, the game’s confirmed for release on PS3 and Xbox360 with versions coming to DS, PSP and Wii as well.
No release date yet, just fall 2010 so far.

Games on Demand adds GRAW and Splinter Cell: Double Agent to 360

Microsoft has added GRAW and Splinter Cell: Double Agent to the Games on Demand Service on Xbox Live.
Both games are now available for downloading in the UK but the US does not get Double Agent, apparently, according to the “available regions”.
GRAW will run $29.99 and DA £19.99, so click here to have a look.
