Ex-THQ Digital Warrington staffers launch new companies
At least three start-ups have formed in the wake of THQ’s closure of its UK studio, Digital Warrington, which produced Warhammer 40K: Kill Team, Red Faction: Battlegrounds, and Juiced.

W40K: Kill Team – The first 10 minutes walked through
Kill Team, the Warhammer 40K precursor to September’s Space Marine, released today on XBLA at 800 Microsoft Points. You’ll find narrated HD video of the opening sections below, showing a twin-stick shooter low on brains and heavy on fun. Look to buy it. I did.

Red Faction: Battlegrounds releasing first week in April
THQ said at a preview event in London tonight that Red Faction: Battlegrounds will release on XBLA and PSN in the first week of April, as reported by Eurogamer. Battlegrounds is a small, vehicle-based actioner created by UK developer THQ Digital Warrington. There are some more details through there, and we’ll have coverage from the event for you soon.
