Namco Bandai awarded distribution rights to The Witcher 2
A French court has ruled in favour of Namco Bandai in a suit the publisher initiated over the distribution rights to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

CD Projekt estimates The Witcher 2 has been pirated over 4.5 million times
CD Projekt CEO Marcin Iwinski has said the firm estimates that The Witcher has been downloaded illegally more than 4.5 million times, and despite this, the developer standes behind its anti-DRM policy.

Witcher 2 has moved close to 250,000 digital units
CCP has said The Witcher 2 on GOG.com has moved 35,000 digital copies, coming in second to Steam’s 195,000 digital units.

Witcher 2 DLC to remain free on PC, same can’t be said for Xbox 360
The Witcher 2′s development director, Adam Badowski, has said that due to restrictive polices on Xbox 360, DLC for the game is unlikely to be free as it is on PC.
