The Warriors XBLA has screens, can probably dig it

warriors1

Paramount’s put out first proper shots of its XBLA Warriors remake. Get them after the break.

The game’s out this summer as part of the film’s 30th birthday celebrations.

Looks like Streets of Rage with bad make-up. Bear in mind this is made by CTXM: it’s got nothing to do with Rockstar.

Solid date soon, hopefully.

The Warriors coming to XBLA this summer

warriors

A new Xbox Live Arcade game based on the gang fight brawler The Warriors will be released this summer, Paramount’s confirmed.

The game is being developed by CTXM, not Rockstar who developed the decently-received console version back in 2005.

The release is part of the 30th anniversary celebration of the cult classic movie of the same name, which will also see a new comic book series and other goodies released around the same time.

There’s a trailer on Joystiq.
