The Australian Classification Review Board has opted to re-appraise the age ratings of 12 titles, following concerns flagged up by South Australian attorney general John Rau. He reckons the board hasn’t been strict enough when classifying such games as The Walking Dead and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Walking Dead: Season 2 developer TellTale Games has taken to Reddit to discuss its current and future projects with fans. Studio co-founder Dan Connors has teased that the studio is working on a few “Dream IP” projects that it will announce soon.

Flying Wild Hog and Telltale have partnered with Devolver Digital for to bring the axe from The Walking Dead to Shadow Warrior. Starting today, fans of Lo Wang can use the axe to murderer zombies of The Walking Dead instead.” The axe is just the latest in a line of cross-promotion weapons, as others included hammer of Serious Sam 3, the Katana from Hotline Miami and the Penetrator from Saint’s Row 4. Episode One of The Walking Dead, A New Day, which tells the first part of Lee and Clementine’s story, is now free on worldwide Xbox Live Arcade and in North America on PlayStation Network. The price of the Season Pass on PSN in North America has also dropped to $14.99. Telltale Games has said to “stay tuned in the days and weeks ahead” for the Season Premiere dates for The Wolf Among Us – slated for Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 – as well as news on Season Two of The Walking Dead, which is slated for iOS, Mac, Ouya, PC, PS3, Vita and Xbox 360.

The Walking Dead game jam is a new two week-long event being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular zombie series. The jam has just been announced by Skybound Entertainment, the production company that belongs to series creator Robert Kirkman.

The Walking Dead will be made available through Ouya later this winter, Telltale Games has announced. The launch version on the Android console comes with the first season, and the 400 Days DLC. A New Day, which is the first episode of Season One, will be made available free. Season Two of the episodic series will also be heading to the micro-console, with the latter expected sometime this fall on iOS, Mac, PC, PS3, Vita and Xbox 360.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days, the new DLC episode for Season One is coming soon and as a refresher, the latest Playing Dead episode from Telltale featuring Sean Ainsworth and Harrison Pink discusses the DLC. Also, a live broadcast of The Walking Dead: Season One finale from Telltale HQ will be broadcats featuring Dave Fennoy (Lee Everett) and Melissa Hutchison (Clementine) will be broadcast on Twitch. The Walking Dead: 400 Days is set to release in early July, and Telltale expects to have confirmed release dates across all platforms – Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Mac, and iOS – as soon as possible.
