TellTale has apologised for the delay on the recently-launched second episode of The Walking Dead and promised the next entry will drop next month.

Below the break is a set of screenshots Telltale released today to coincide with The Walking Dead: Episode 2 landing on Xbox Live. The game is slated for PC and PSN on Friday, while those in Europe are still awaiting word on when the game will release for PS3. The Walking Dead Episode 2 released on Xbox Live today, and Sam Clay decided to give it a go and show you the results. How well did he do in the first 10 minutes? Find out below the break. Episode 2 will release on PC and through the US PS Store on Friday. The game will release on PSN in Europe “ASAP,” once whatever is holding it up is killed with fire.

Telltale has said it’s working with Sony to release The Walking Dead Episode 2 as quickly as possible in Europe. According to the firm’s Alan Johnson, the “EU PSN Store is a bit different in terms of releases,” when compared to the US. “It will be out ASAP there.” The Walking Dead Episode 2 launches on Xbox Live Arcade today and on the PC and the US PS Store on Friday.

Telltale has announced The Walking Dead – Episode 2 will be available on Xbox Live tomorrow, June 27. PC and PS3 versions will land on Friday, June 29. Each episode runs you $4.99, or you can get the Season Pass on PS3 for $19.99. It said the game would be available around the end of June, and it’s the end of June we reckon.

Telltale has said Episode 2 of The Walking Dead will be released “around the end of June.” Speaking with Kotaku, the developer said the reason they haven’t provided a firm date for it, is it’s currently waiting on the certification process. The second episode takes place three months after the conclusion of Episode 1, and “things have gotten tenser—food is scarce, and no one in the party is a particularly good hunter.” Thanks, manamana.
