BioWare has updated the holonet on its website for Star Wars: The Old Republic with information and screenshots of Taris, which has seen some conflict between the Jedi and Sith.

The third Star Wars: The Old Republic Developer diary has been released and it shows some really spanking in-game voice acting and the early user interface which is used to create your moral choices.

It shows a bit of combat too.

We’ll be lucky if Star Wars: The Old Republic is comes out before 2011 as much work as BioWare’s putting into it, but at least it will be something to look forward to.

BioWare has released an audio timeline detailing events before the peace between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire in The Old Republic.

The history lesson is told by Master Gnost-Dural, Keeper of the Jedi Archives, played by none other than actor Lance Henriksen.

Very cool.

Not sure how many more of these to expect, but this is called Timeline 1: The Treaty of Coruscant. There are other points of interest on the video as well. Eighteen as a matter of fact.

Details outlining The Old Republic’s Bounty Hunter character class have popped up on the MMO’s official site.

Apparently the Sith’s offering “massive bounties to employ the galaxy’s most lethal hunters”. Good thing too. Boba Fett was cool as hell.

Bounty Hunters will be able to work alone or in groups, and can carry a vast array of advanced blaster weapons and flamethrowers.

Jetpacks will help you maneuver around obstacles and enemies, and, of course, the characters will be decked out in way-cool Mandalorian armor.

Two new shots of The Old Republic were released today, but they’re nothing more than artwork. Nothing near as interesting as last week’s look at Hutt.

No word yet on when we will be able to bring balance to the force.
