The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 video shows 10-minutes of gameplay
Nintendo announced yesterday that a new The Legend of Zelda game was in the works and would take place in the same universe as A Link to the Past. Today, DarkZero found a ten minutes of gameplay video online of someone playing around with it. According to what Reggie Fils-Aime said yesterday, the game contains and all new adventure and will allow Link to become a drawing and move along walls. The game will launch this holiday season.

Hyrule Historia is Amazon’s number one bestseller
After 93 days in the top 100, The Legend of Zelda’s Hyrule Historia is in the top position on Amazon’s charts. In the UK it’s number five, but it’s only been in the charts for 39 days and is on the rise. A very limited edition of the 272 page artbook was announced in November.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD shots look super lovely
Nintendo has released screenshots of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. The shots were posted on the publisher’s Wii U Facebook page, and follow today’s announcement that the game will release on Wii U in the fall, with a significant HD upgrade. A video featuring Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma was also release today, and while it is included in the original post, we’ve stuck in in here again for you.

The Legend of Zelda turns 25 in the US
The Legend of Zelda turned 25 yesterday in the US. The inaugural game in the lauded series was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the US on August 22, and it sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide and was the first NES title to sell over 1 million. We feel old all of a sudden – thanks alot NintendoLife. Still, hats off and Happy Birthday Link.

Dark Horse Books and Nintendo have announced The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia, which contains a vast collection of historical information on The Legend of Zelda franchise, will be localized and released in the west in January.
