Miyamoto’s Zelda: Skyward Sword presentation from 3DS event turned into English
Nintendo of America’s translated into English the presentation given by Shigeru Miyamoto for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword at Nintendo’s recent pre-TGS event for 3DS. You’ll see the 25th anniversary video running from Skyward’s graphics at the beginning before Miyamoto shows off the game for a couple of minutes or so. Get it after the break, via Siliconera.

Skyward Sword videos show intro, Miyamoto talking cost of development
In a video clip posted below, the opening intro to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is shown. Below that, is another video featuring Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto chatting about Zelda’s development costs. Miyamoto said in it he is unsure whether the amount spent on the game is the most ever for a Nintendo title or not, but it still cost quit a few purple rupees. Sadly, the video has not been translated into English yet, but there’s some gameplay footage shown in the interview between the two industry vets. Thanks, Andirasang.

As part of its exclusive, month long coverage of he Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, GameInformer has posted several screenshots from the game, featuring: Silent Realm, the World Above The Clouds, the Eldin Volcano and Fire Temple locations, and even a bit of dowsing. The Legend of Zelda gets next Game Informer cover
Game Informer’s announced tonight that its next cover for the magazine’s new issue will be The Legend of Zelda. The magazine will take a look back at the series’ 25 years to date, as well as promising a ten page hands-on preview of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii. The mag will also preview Skyrim, Quantum Conundrum, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and “an intriguing new game from EA,” although it isn’t specifically named. More details here.

Nintendo to bring Zelda: Skyward Sword to gamescom
Nintendo’s set to bring The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to gamescom in a couple of weeks time. According to GoNintendo, most other games that were at E3 will also be in Cologne in a couple of weeks. Ocarina of Time 3D will also be there for those still yet to buy it.
