Pandora’s Tower, The Last Story dated in Nintendo European release schedule
Nintendo of Europe has announced its release schedule for the fall and winter period, as well as dropping some good news: The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower are finally hitting Europe in 2012.

NoA looks to European sales before Xenoblade, The Last Story release
Nintendo of America still isn’t promising anything with regards to a local release of The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles, but it will monitor the European performance of the two much-requested JRPGs.

Nintendo officially issued Last Story trademark in US
Nintendo been formally issued the trademark to The Last Story in the US. The trademark was filed as far back as January last year, but officially issued on Monday. This most likely isn’t for a release of the Mistwalker RPG, though. At least not yet anyways. The wait continues for the US posse. The game released back in January for Japan.

Rumor – NA localization finished for Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story in the works
Rumor has it North American localization for Xenoblade Chronicles has wrapped up, and currently, localization for The Last Story is in the works.

Report – Sakaguchi says Last Story western localisation is inbound
LiveWii‘s reporting that Mistwalker’s Hironobu Sakaguchi confirmed to French gaming press recently that The Last Story will be localised for Europe.

Because the Japanese want to see you on your knees, begging Nintendo for benevolence while worshipful tears fall from your cheeks like dying rose petals, they keep uploading videos of Japan-exclusive RPG, The Last Story.
This one apparently shows off the opening moments of he fifth chapter, and if our Japanese were better, could well contain spoilers.

The Last Story website gets updated with gameplay details
Nintendo may not have plans to release Mistwalker’s The Last Story outside of Japan, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t read about all of the gameplay details you’ll be missing out on.

3DS and Kirby’s Epic Yarn partly to blame for The Last Story releasing only in Japan
Nintendo UK boss David Yarnton has said the reason the firm isn’t releasing Mistwalker’s The Last Story outside of Japan at release is because of Europe’s diverse languages and the the fact Nintendo has “so much on its plate at the moment.”

Sakaguchi: The Last Story won’t use “shake controls”
The Last Story director Hironobu Sakaguchi has said the game will not use “shake controls,” adding that it’s not “possible” for the game to appear on any other platform.
