Bethesda provides a look into the World of Skyrim
Bethsda has released another video in its World of Skyrim series, and this one takes a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of the world and characters in the game. The world looks absolutely gorgeous, and it’s nice to hear more varied character voices than what was present in Oblivion – something the developers admittedly fixed this time out. Skyrim’s four-disc original game soundtrack now available for pre-order
Those who harbor a love of gaming music, should turn their eyes and ears towards the original soundtrack to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Available now for pre-order through DirectSong, the four-disc set is a collector’s item featuring music composed for the game by Jeremy Soule. As a bonus, if you order between now and December 23, copies of the set will be autographed by Soule. The set is out on November 11, and will run you $29.99. Details on the music being made available on iTunes will be announced at a later date.

Bethesda provides a glimpse into the making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda has released a snippet of its behind-the scenes video Behind The Wall: The Making of Skyrim which is included with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector’s Edition. In it, the development team chats about how it went about making the fifth installment in the series different from previous iterations, and how sometimes it was the “little things” in the game which were obsessed over the most. You can watch a shortened version of the video below. Skyrim releases in 10 days for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Microsoft nabs timed exclusivity deal for Skyrim DLC
Microsoft has announced an exclusivity deal with Bethesda for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The first two pieces of DLC for the game will land on Xbox Live for 30 days upon release, after which the DLC will land on PC and PS3, according to the press release. The content of said DLC has yet to be revealed. Skyrim releases worldwide on November 11.

Bethesda will be at PAX Prime this weekend, and will allow attendees to go hands-on with Skyrim’s face creator. To help kick things off, the firm has sent over a compiled look at the preset face variations available for each of the ten races in the game. You can look over these below. Skyrim footage out of Comic-Con is lovely
Some footage of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been released out of Comic-Con, and it seriously makes us wish November would get here already, no matter how damn cold it is that time of the year. The video, posted below the break courtesy of GameFront, shows all in-game footage. It’s very nice. The game is out on November 11 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 – in case you’ve been living under a rock or something.
