The Elder Scrolls Online will be playable at Gamescom in August, ZeniMax Online has announced. It’s presence will allow “thousands” the opportunity to play the MMO at Bethesda’s booth. The Elder Scrolls Online will be playable at PAX East, should you be attending the Boston show this weekend. As well as sending staff to appear in a number of panels, Bethesda is making the MMORPG the focus of a special event, with competitions, food, music and more. Full details are available on the Bethesda Blog. The Elder Scrolls Online launches on PC later this year. PAX East runs March 22 through 24.

As a person who is relatively new to MMO gaming, the Holy Trinity (damage, healer, tank) is still a fresh concept to me, and I am not tired of it. But others don’t feel that way. Bethesda hears their cries, and are creating a game that does contain trinity roles without necessarily requiring them all to be present for 4+ person group content.
