The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is out tomorrow in the States and there isn’t a review in sight. But there is a new launch trailer that shows a little bit more than we’ve seen before. I use the word ‘little’ with great emphasis.

Activision has told Vooks that the Wii U version of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct will not be released in Australia. The publisher cited low demand for the Nintendo SKU of the Terminal Reality effort, as it did when skipping over 007 Legends at the console’s launch last year. Retailers have already removed references to the release from websites, and the cancellation has raised questions regarding the Wii U’s performance in Australia, already a small market.The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is due to launch on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in March, with other territories receiving a Wii U version simultaneously.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is getting DLC. The ‘Walker Herd Survival Pack’ will be made available exclusively to GAME and GameStop Ireland pre-order customers.

Walking Dead: Survival Instinct has received a new batch of official screens from publisher Activision, showing off Michael Rooker’s character, plenty of undead walkers and ruined city streets. Remember, Terminal Reality says it’s not an FPS. The trailer on the other hand is short, very short.

A teaser trailer for Activision’s The Walking Dead action-FPS has landed, hinting at a story of life before the infamous incidents on Hershel’s farm and the rooftop in Atlanta that transpire in the AMC TV show: “When the world goes to hell, how will you survive?”
The game is in development by Terminal Reality and will focus on brothers Daryl and Merle Dixon. It’s expected in 2013 for PS3, 360 and PC.
