Tekken Tag Tournament 2 publisher Namco Bandai has dropped $5,000 in the coffers of Atlanta tournmanet Final Round, Shoryuken reports. The cash is an extra pot bonus, but it’s not clear how it will be distributed. Final Round is in its 16th incarnation and takes place on March 29 through March 31.

Registrations are now being accepted for the Evo 2013 championships which take place at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Nevada. You can pick up your pass through the website, which details each price package. The championships will be held on the weekend of July 12, with the main event being held at the Bally’s Event Center and Grand Ballroom. Games included in the championships are: Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Street Fighter X Tekken 2013 Edition, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat, The King of Fighters 13, Persona 4 Arena, and Super Smash Bros. Namco Bandai will update Tekken Tag Tournament 2′s Saudi Arabia stage after it came to light that a pattern on the level’s floor contains Arabic script which is potentially offensive to Muslims. “We didn’t know that. We will change stage design data as soon as possible. We couldn’t read that,” Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada confirmed on Twitter.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which is a Wii U launch title, was shown off today at the Tokyo Games Show. Lucky for you, Namco felt the need to send over some screenshots of the fighter, and we’ve posted the lot below. A couple are rather fun to look at, as they show who we think is Kazuya dressed in a Link costume. It’s hard for us to be sure without seeing his hair.
